You do not need the full XCI. Just grab the NSP base + latest UPD. Install both via emulator’s “Install Files to NAND” option.
Press the (Plus) or - (Minus) button to open the Options menu. Select Software Update from the sidebar. Pokemon UNITE Switch NSP XCI UPDATE
