Hp 61.00.00 — Error
This is the most common hardware cause. The pickup rollers are responsible for pulling the paper from the tray into the printer. Over time, the rubber on these rollers wears down or becomes coated with paper dust, making them smooth and slippery.
Paper movement is tracked by plastic "flags" that sit in the paper path. When paper passes, it pushes the flag, breaking an optical beam that tells the printer, "Paper is here." If a sensor flag is stuck in the "up" position (perhaps by dust or a broken spring) or if the optical sensor itself is faulty, the printer logic board gets confused and generates the error. hp 61.00.00 error
